A Self-Pity Evacuation Ritual for Feelings of Rejection

Feelings of rejection happen to all of us. It could be a partner in a relationship that sets these feelings off, a career path not going the way we planned, or something simple like a a friend canceling last minute that throws us into a downward spiral of feeling rejected. I recently had a beautiful and enlightening conversation on this topic with Relationship and Diversity Coach, Monique Melton, who shared that not only do we all commonly have feelings of rejection, but that these feelings can quickly turn into a form of self-pity. The good news? There is a path, a ritual, that we can follow when these feeling are triggered that will help us avoid the self-pity party all together.
